Vidura

Vidura is one of the key figuires in the Indian epic Mahabharata. It is said that God Dharma himself took birth in the form of Vidura. He was the brother of the blind king Dhritarashtra. Vidura was a well-wisher of his brother and strived to lead him in the proper way. Although he was born amidst luxurious amenities, he led a poor and simple life. He married a poor woman. His narration on righteous policy, Dharma-Niti, is very famous.
