Sri Jaya Anjaneya Temple is located at Lalapet in Karur District. The temple deity is facing towards the south. There is a wonder stone in this temple which is believed to have fallen from the hands of Sri Anjaneya when he was carrying the Marunthu Malai to Sri Lanka. The stone starts rotating when devotees mount it. It is believed that if the stone rotates to the right, the wish of the devotee would be fulfilled, and if it rotates to the left the wish would not be granted. If the wish is not a just one, then the stone does not move at all.
