Kalhatti Waterfalls is about 10 km from Kemmannagundi, in Chikmagalur District of Karnataka. At a distance of about 14 km is Ooty (Tamil Nadu).
Also known as Kalahasti, Kalhatti plummets down from the top of the Chandra Drona Hill from a height of 122 m. The adjoining areas are noted for its scenic beauty. September-May is the best season to visit the spot.
The highlight here is Veerabhadreshwara Temple, an ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Places of interest nearby include Hebbe Falls.
