Mambalam




A prime residential and commercial area in Chennai, Mambalam is divided into East and West Mambalam by the railway line passing through it. East Mambalam is popularly known as T Nagar (Thyagaraja Nagar).

The present Mambalm is the West Mambalam, which is famous for the Sankara mutt, Kasi Viswanathar temple and the Kodhanda Ramaswamy temple.

Mambalam Railway Station is managed by the Southern Railways. Chennai International Airport is around 14 km south-west. Chennai Central Railway Station is 8 km north-east.
