Elathur

Elathur is a town in Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu. Around 53 km north-west of Tirunelveli, this town lies on the National Highway 208 between Tenkasi and Puliyangudi.

Tourist places such as Sengottai, Kuttalam and Sankarankovil can be easily accessed from Elathur. Papanasam is a sacred spot nearby. Also, temples at Kallidaikurichi and Cheranmadevi are worth visiting.
