Adyar River

Adyar River originates from the Malaipattu tank in Chennai District. It flows through the city of Chennai. The river has a length of 42 km and merges into the Bay of Bengal. Adyar estuary (the mouth of the Adyar River) protects a lot of wildlife, migratory birds, flora and fauna.
