Amaravathi Dam

Amaravathi Dam is located about 25 km from Udumalpet in Coimbatore District. It is a medium type reservoir built across the Cauvery River. It has a height of 90 feet. The main attraction of the dam is a crocodile farm. The dam provides water for irrigation purposes. Amaravathi Dam is an unforgettable sight for the tourists.
