Punas is a small town, 9 km to the south of Bhadwi in Jalore District of Rajasthan. Karwara to the south and Nimbawa to the east, are at a distance of 10 km.
Jhab and Hariyali are roughly 24 km to the south-west of Punas. Bhinmal, an ancient town, lies towards the east and is easily accessible by road.
The major tourist attractions are Shri Bhinmal Teerth, a Jain temple of archeological importance and Jalore Fort, a 10th century fort.
Marwar Bhinmal Railway Station and Jodhpur Airport serve Punas.
