This stately sandstone and marble cenotaph is a fine specimen of Indo-Islamic style of architecture. The cenotaph has domed arches with beautiful floral tracery. It is decorated with mythological and court scenes in fading gold leaf painting and its ceiling is adorned with impressive carvings. A museum on the top floor of the palace displays rare collections of Arabic and Sanskrit manuscripts, tenth-century statues, ivory ornaments, fine embroidery, weapons and stuffed animals.
