Kota Barrage




Kota Barrage is a part of the irrigational canal system on the Chambal River, situated in Kota, Rajasthan. It diverts the water released after power generation at Gandhi Sagar, Rana Pratap Sagar and Jawahar Sagar Dams for irrigation in Rajasthan and in Madhya Pradesh. Kota Barrage is a beautiful setting ideal for outings and evening strolls.

During the monsoon season Kota Barrage serves as an alternative bridge.

Kansua Shiva Temple, Bhitria Kund Temple, Adhar Shila Budh Singh Bafna Haveli and Yatayat Park are the nearby tourist places worth visiting.
