Trimurti, meaning "three forms" refers to the Hindu trinity of gods,
Brahma,
Vishnu, and
Shiva or Maheshwar. Brahma creates, Vishnu preserves, and Shiva destroys. Trimurti is usually depicted as a figure with three heads. However, Trimurti - as a cult- is not worshipped nowadays. Instead Vishnu and Shiva are worshipped as separate deities. Brahma, the first of the trinity, is not as popular a deity as Vishnu and Shiva. In fact, there are very few Brahma Temples in the country. One of the most famous depiction of Trimurti can bee seen in the
