Ram Niwas Garden

Ram Niwas Bagh



Ram Niwas Garden is situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Spread over 33 acres of land, this beautiful garden was built by Sawai Ram Singh II in 1868 as a famine relief project.

Ram Niwas is a lush spacious garden with a zoo, an aviary, a greenhouse, a herbarium, a museum and popular sports ground. Major point of attraction is the Albert Hall Museum, a fine example of the modern Indo-Saracenic style architecture.

Recently, the Rabindra Manch Theatre with an auditorium, a modern art gallery and an open air theatre, has been added to promote cultural events.
