Deevo




Deevo is a rustic festival held on the first day of the waxing moon in the month of Shravan (August). It is a fun-filled festival. Bullocks are washed for the ceremony. People bow before them and arti (ritual worship with lit lamps) is offered. The festival highlights the agrarian base of rural life.
