Bajra is a small cereal plant bearing nutritious seeds, used mainly for making roti (bread).

The Bajra protein has more lysine, methionine and tryptophan than other food grains. Also it is recognized as low fat diet. Bajra contains thiamin (Vitamin B1) and iron.
