Gurdwara Degsar Sahib, a beautifully planned Sikh shrine, is situated along the Sirhind Canal near
Grand Trunk Road in Katana village of
Ludhiana District. It is popularly known as Gurdwara Katana Sahib.
Guru Hargobind Sahib had visited and rested at this place a couple of times. It stands on a vast area of land in the midst of a beautiful garden. The gurdwara celebrates Sangrand and Prakash Utsav of the tenth guru with great enthusiasm.
Gurdwara Degsar Sahib is 25 km from Ludhiana and 5 km from
Doraha, which has a railway station.
