Ghurani Kalan




Ghurani Kalan, a village in Ludhiana District of Punjab, is about 11 km from Doraha. This village has been sanctified by the visit of Guru Hargobind Sahib, the sixth Sikh Guru, in 1632. Tradition has it that the Guru stayed here for several days.

There are two gurdwaras, Gurdwara Patshahi Chhevin (also known as Gurdwara Chohla Sahib) and Gurdwara Nimsar, which are popular sacred spots.

The nearest railway station is at Dorah. Ludhiana Airport serves this area.
