Chamkaur Sahib

Chamkaur Sahib is a historical village located in Rupnagar District. This place is directly associated with Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth and last Sikh Guru. This is the place from where the Guru sent his two elder sons to fight against Mughals, and saw them martyred. This is a religious shrine where numerous Gurdwaras are located. The Gurdwara Katalgarh Sahib is the main attraction in this village. Thousands of Sikh devotees arrive here to offer their prayers.
