Talcher Thermal Power Station

Talcher Thermal Power Station is a coal based power station situated at Talcher in Angul District.

It generates about 460 MW of power from 2 units of 110 MW and 4 units of 60 MW. The coal for the power generation is taken from the Talcher Coal Fields and water from the Brahmini River.
