Shatrughaneswar Temple

Located in Bhubaneswar of Orissa, Satrughaneswara temple is ascribed to the 6th century A.D. It belongs to a group of three temples, the other two being the temples of Lakshmanesvara and Bharatesvara. The sculptures on the monuments reveal its affinities with those of the Dasavatara temple at Deogarh. The monuments are marked by designs which resemble post-Gupta Art. The ruined temple of Lakshmaneswar is adjacent to Shatrughaneswar temple. This revered place of pilgrimage is visited by hundreds of devotees every year.
