Rayagada Railway Station

Rayagada Railway Station is on the Raipur-Vizianagaram railway line. It is under the administrative control of the South Eastern Railways. Koraput-Howrah Express, Hirakhand Express, Samata Express, Sambalpur-Rayagada Express and Korba-Visakhapatnam Express touch this station.

The station is located to the north of Rayagada and is about 2 km from Utkal Gourav Madhusudan Institute of Technology. At the station there is a tourist information cell to help the passengers. The railway department has provided computerized reservation at the station. Going north, Therubali Railway Station is the main station next to Rayagada.

Just 3 km from the station is Hatipathar, a tourist spot worth visiting.
