Majhwar

Majhwar is a Dravidian tribe inhabiting Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. These tribes are a branch/sub caste of the Gond community. They are settled mostly in remote areas.

Majhwar speak a typical language known as 'Majhwar'. Their life is unhurried, with routines and customs special to them. One of the main festivals celebrated by this tribe is the Karma(Karam).
