Konark Dance Festival is a popular event of classical dance and music, held at
Sun Temple, in
Konark of
Orissa. It lasts for five days and falls annually in December.
Konark Dance Festival is a platform for both performing artists and the dance connoisseurs. Eminent classical dancers from all over the country perform various dance forms such as Odissi, Bharathnatyam, Manipuri, Kathak and Chhow.
Jointly organized by Orissa Tourism and Odissi Research Centre, this dance festival is accompanied by a craft fair and a food festival.
