Tuirial River




Tuirial River or Sonai is an important river in the northern part of Mizoram. It flows northward and merges in the Barak River in Cachar District in Assam. This river flanks the eastern part of the Aizawl city, whereas the western side is surrounded by the Tlawng River. The mini zoo in the Sihphir village is on the banks of the Tuirial River. It also favors the Tuirial Hydro Electric Project.
