Thenzawl is one of the important tourist centers in
Mizoram. This town, 93 km from
Aizawl, is situated 735 ft above mean sea level. It is surrounded by hills, broken forests and traversed by different types of streams. The climate is warm and humid. The famous
Vantawng Waterfall is very close to this scenic village. It is situated at about 4 km south of this village at Lau River.
Thenzawl is not connected by rail but it is connected by road to Aizawl and Lunglei.
