Ward's Lake, also known as Polok Lake, is a horseshoe shaped lake located near Raj Bhavan in
Shillong.
This century old lake is set amidst beautiful surroundings. Popular for boating facilities, the lake has an arched bridge over it. Botanical Garden lies nearby. It also houses a mini-aviary with various species of birds.
