Rongrengiri Reserve Forest



Rongrengiri Reserve Forest spans an area of 36 sq km. It is located on the left bank of the river Simsang close to Williamnagar, the district headquarters of East Garo Hills. Rongrengiri is 10 km away from Williamnagar on the Tura-Asanangre-Williamnagar state highway. River Simsang is famous for small and big catches. Imperial-Pigeons are found on the banks of the river. Tall, elegant, and mature Sal trees are abundant in the forest.
