Umgot River


Umgot River flows through Dawki, a border town in the East Khasi Hills District, situated at a distance of 96 km from Shillong. The annual boat race conducted in the river during the spring season is a major attraction. Jakrem, a popular health resort and Ranikor, a scenic spot are near the Umgot River.
