Thangkharang Park, a beautiful park, is situated 12 km from
Cherrapunji in
East Khasi Hills District. The park houses a bird sanctuary and offers almost 180 degree view of the plains of Bangladesh. Monsoon is the best time to visit here. Kynrem Falls is also located within the park.
