Sindkhed Raja is a small place located about 105 km Buldhana on the State Highway 183, in Buldhana District of Maharashtra. It is renowned as the birth place of Rajmata Jijbai, the mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Major points of attractions include Kalkat, Rang Mahal, Lakhuji Jadhav Memorial, Palace of Lakhuji Jadhav and ancient temples of Neelkantheshwar and Rameshwar.
