A small hamlet in
Sindhudurg District of
Maharashtra, Shiroda is 19 km from
Vengurla. Shiroda village was involved in the Salt
Satyagraha of 1930. It is also the land of inspiration for the famous novelist V S Khandekar. Shiroda and Aaravali are twin villages, with a major market place at Shiroda.
The prime attraction at Shiroda is Velagar Beach. There is also a temple of Goddess Mauli at Shiroda.
