Murti




Murti is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘murta’, which means form. It is an image or a statue of a deity used for worship by Hindu devotees. Murtis are usually representation of Gods and Goddesses such as Shiva, Vishnu, Ganesh, Ram, Krishna, Saraswati or Kali.
