Naigaon Peacock Sanctuary




Situated in Beed District, Naigaon Peacock Sanctuary is the only sanctuary of its kind in Maharashtra. The nature reserve is adequately supplied with perennial streams. Apart from peacocks, the national bird, the variety of fauna includes hyena, fox, jackal, hare, deer and wild cats. It also features a wide range of flora. The ideal time to visit the sanctuary is from September to March. Naigaon Peacock Sanctuary is easily accessible from Aurangabad Airport. Aurangabad Railway Station is 20 km from here.
