The uptown of Mumbai and the residential area of major matinee idols of Bollywood, Juhu is sandwiched between Bandra and Andheri. Andheri is around 4 km north and Bandra is around 7 km south. Santa Cruz and Vile Parle are in the east.
Juhu, particulary Juhu Beach, gets a carnival atmosphere during evening, particularly during weekends, when the crowd of Mumbai comes here for a much need relaxation. ISKCON temple,
Prithvi Theatre and Shooting pool at Raspberry Rhinoceros are other major attractions. Versova Beach is at the northern end of the bay of Juhu.

Juhu is around 25 km north of downtown Mumbai. Nearest major railheads are Bandra Terminus Station and Dadar Central Railway Station. Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is around 8 km east. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station is around 25 km south.
