Dhule is a city in Maharashtra located in the Tapi River valley. The city, on the
Deccan Plateau is 149 km from
Nasik and 334 km from
Mumbai. It is a commercial center, predominantly employed in agricultural trades and serving the surrounding region. Dhule is also famous for cotton-textile manufacturing and owns mills for processing vegetable oil, crushing groundnuts, sesame, linseed, and cotton seed.
