Ausa is a taluk headquarters town situated just 20 km away from Latur, on the main State Highway No. 3. A historical fort and a huge temple of Virnath Maharaj are the main attractions of Ausa. The temple was constructed by Virnath Maharaj’s son Mallinath Maharaj about 300 years ago.
