Shaila Dance

Shaila Dance is one among the social dances performed by the Baiga and Gond tribes of Dindori District, Madhya Pradesh. The dance encompasses the stick performance.

This cultural performance reminds the people of the days, when the warrior groups of the tribe used to live on the hills and were called upon to defend themselves against enemies.
