Shahpura

Capital of the erstwhile state of Shahpura



Shahpura is the capital of an erstwhile princely state of that name. The former rulers of the Shahpura (Manoharpur) were the descendants of the Shekhawat clan of Rajputs. It is also famous for the Phad paintings.

Nearest Railway station is at Bhilwara, 58 km from Shahpura town.
