Ken Gharial Sanctuary

Located in Chhatarpur District of Madhya Pradesh, Ken Gharial Sanctuary lies at the confluence of Ken and Khudar rivers. It is about 24 km from Khajuraho.

This sanctuary is the natural home of the 6 m long fish-eating Gharial, a rare species of crocodile. Chinkara, chital, wild boar, blue bull and peacock are the other species found here.

Nearest Railway Stations are at Satna and Harpalpur. Nearest bus station is at Khajuraho.
