Son Chiryiya Bird Sanctuary is located at Khakhi Math in
Shivpuri District of
Madhya Pradesh. Situated about 20 km from
Shivpuri, it is home a large variety of birds.
The sanctuary is well-known for rare bird species Son Chirya. Though the numbers of birds are decreasing, the efforts are on full swing to protect this rare beautiful species.
Shivpuri is located 245 km to the north of Bhopal.
