Indore has two bus stations - the Sarvate Bus Station (situated near the Indore Railway Station) and the Gangwal Bus Station (in the west of Indore, on Dhar Road.) Regular buses are available to Gwalior, Bhopal, Ujjain, Ahmedabad and Pune. Luxury, semi-luxury and ordinary buses are in service. Transport corporations of neighbouring states also run regular services to and from Indore city.

Private buses, auto-rickshaws and cycle-rickshaws are available for local travel.
