Chandia Khas

Chandia Khas is one of the important tourist places in Umaria District of Madhya Pradesh. It is located about 21 km from Umaria on the Umaria-Katni road.

Places of tourist interest are a small temple of Goddess Kalika and an ancient temple of Lord Ram and his consort Janaki. A 3 days fair held at Suraswahi Chandia on every Shivaratri (February/March) is a major draw.

Chandia Khas has a railway station, known as Chandia Road Railway Station, on the Umaria-Bilaspur route.
