Bakawa

Bakawa in Khargone District is famous for its revered shivlingas. The villagers of Bakawa, collect stones and boulders from the Narmada river bed and carve them into shivlingas, the emblem of Shiva. The shivlingas can be found in thousands of temples throughout India.
