Established in 1997, Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium showcases some of the world’s rarest and most exotic species of invertebrates and ornamental fish. The coral paradise, cultured by replicating the habitat in its natural form, is a major point of attraction.
Managed by the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI), the aquarium is situated at Vizhinjam, an important fishing port in Kerala.
