Peermade Club

Established in 1925, Peermade Club is situated inside the Tyford Tea Estate in Idukki District. This country style cottage is characterised by large windows with glass panes and wooden frames and the main entrance is a pretty bay projecting towards the north. The club has a billiard room decorated with stuffed heads of bison, tiger and leopard. There is a stacked bar with heavy timbered ceiling and a teak wood counter.

The club has a golf course, table tennis facility and a library. Guests are not allowed with the members.

Kottayam railway station is nearby and Cochin International Airport 145 km away.
