Pappanamcode




Pappanamcode is a small settlement, situated on the Thiruvananthapuram-Kanyakumari highway ( National Highway 47), just 5 km from Thiruvananthapuram, in Kerala. It is famous for the Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering, Regional Research Laboratory (CSIR) and National Institute of TV and Video Engineering.

Major tourist attractions in and around Pappanamcode include Madathil Kovil, Mosque, Nagar Althara, Sree Krishna Swami Temple, Mata Amritanandamayi Math (1.5 km) and Shiva Temple at Karakkamandapam.

Pappanamcode is about 13 km from the Trivandrum International Airport. Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station (5 km) is the nearest railhead. Pappanamcode Bus Station operates bus services to all major destinations in and around the city. Going to the west, Thiruvananthapuram Central Bus Station (5 km) is the major bus station.
