Kazhakuttam Railway Station (also spelt Kazhakkoottam Railway Station) falls on the Thiruvananthapuram-Ernakulam railway line. The station is served by the Southern Railways. Train connections include Malabar Express, Thiruvananthapuram-Kottayam Passenger, Thiruvananthapuram-Kollam Passenger and Madurai-Kollam Passenger.
