Namaskara Mandapam is an integral part of the temple architecture. It is the place where the priests and
Brahmins sit and recite the hymns,
mantras and slokas. The priest prostrates in this mandapam before entering the
shrikovil to perform
puja and other rituals. The Namaskara Mandapam is generally square shaped, with pillars supporting the roof. It is built right at the center of the
Chuttambalam in front of the shrikovil. Devotees are not allowed to enter the mandapam.
