Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium

Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium, better known as Nehru Stadium, is located at Kaloor in Kochi. Established in 1996-97, the stadium is an important sporting venue in Kerala. It has the seating capacity of about 60,000. The stadium is also referred as Kaloor International Stadium.

With the official one day international cricket match played between India and Australia on April 1st 1999, the stadium received international status. The stadium is floodlit and is also a venue for football and athletics.
