Chandragiri, in
Kasargod District, is located on the banks of the
Chandragiri River. The town is well known for its 17th century fort built by Sivappa Naik of Bedanore. The fort is a vantage point to watch the sunset. The town has a mosque and the Kizhur State Temple, celebrates the annual festival called Pattu Utsavam.
Chandragiri is only a few minutes drive from Kasargod town.
