Thakra Dhara is an ayurvedic treatment mainly for insomnia, vata predominant diseases, mental tension and certain skin diseases. In this treatment, medicated milk, medicated butter milk and some herbal oils are poured on the forehead following a special method, for about 45 minutes in a day. The treatment lasts for a period of 7 to 21 days.
